Offensive content

The number of subreddits with blatantly offensive names is ridiculous!! Like, does anyone even proofread these things before making them public? I mean, come on, how does some of this stuff slip through?!

I think there's an inherent flaw in how subreddits are created—it's way too easy. It's like they place no checkpoints. They need a better vetting system before these names go live.

Offensive? More like entertaining, lol. Some of these names crack me up. It's just the internet, lighten up. 😂

I just scroll past them, but I agree, it's annoying sometimes. We can't get rid of everything unfortunatly.

It might be like a game of whack-a-mole for the admins, honestly. Some seem to slip through the cracks because these subs just pop up under new names constantly. It's hard to catch them all. Reporting helps but it's never-ending.

Maybe if they had better filters or AI moderation who knows? But for sure, we need more proactive measures. I've reported like, dozens in the past week myself!

I've seen some wild ones out there lol but I guess online platforms have to rely on user reports a lot? Idk the process but it's flawed for sure.

I think there's not enough moderation or maybe automated systems don't catch everything. I remember stumbling upon one that was reported ages ago but is still up. 🤷‍♂️
