I love how The Sims 4 incorporates TV channels into the game

Here are the channels: 1. News - Focuses on news events. At the very end of the broadcast, the news anchors kiss before cutting to the color bars and then close it out. 2. Action - Some action movies. One of them is a poor man's Indiana Jones. 3. Romance - 2 movies. One of them about Royal Families. One of them is ER meets Grey's Anatomy. 4. Comedy - 2 stand up shows with different shows. 5. Cooking - 2 shows. One of them is similar to Julia Child The Show, one of them is a poor man's Iron Chef. 6. Kids - 1 show about singing on this channel. 7. Music - Music clips. 8. Fireplace - Footage of the fireplace because, who knows?

The channels are fun and all, but am I the only one who misses the option to watch TV with other Sims like in previous games? It was a great social interaction. Sure, now there are more channels, but sometimes less is more, especially when it means better interactions.

For anyone who hasn't figured it out yet, your Sims' reactions to the TV can be hilarious. Try having a grouchy Sim watch the comedy channel or a romantic one watch the romance. It's details like this that make me love TS4 so much!

I'm all for the fireplace channel during winter, makes the holiday builds just perfect ambiance-wise. It's the little things, you know? Total game changer for mood setting.

Just started playing and already hooked on the cooking channel, feels like I'm learning along with my Sim lol. Does anyone ever wish they made a full episode of the Iron Chef parody?

I've been playing since the original Sims and I gotta say, the TV details in 4 are on point! The news channel is a nice touch, adds realism. Missed opportunity not to have a weather channel though, with seasons affecting gameplay and all.
