I dunno man, Google Maps says to get in a kayak and start paddling. In all seriousness, get a visa, hop on plane to SFO, and get downtown from there. Not too hard.

I felt I had to add to the visa comment. For the OP, depending on what your plans in SF are, you might need different types of visas. The most common would likely be a B-2, tourist visa. But if you're coming for work or study, the requirement might be different. Please check the US Consulate/Embassy for your area for more accurate information. Safe travels!

Do remember that BART doesn't operate 24/7. If you are arriving late, might hve to grub a cab or something. U can also use rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft. Once you're downtown, it's pretty walkable and ther's the Muni for bus & tram options. Welcome to the city by the bay!

After u arrive at SFO, take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to get downtown. It's your cheapest option. You can get a Clipper Card for easy access to most public transit in SF. And yeah, definitely don't start paddling. 😂

Okay, this should be easy.

Apply for a B-2 visa. Check the US embassy website in China for guidelines.
Once your visa is approved, you can book your flight. Major Chinese cities like Beijing, Guangzhou, or Shanghai have direct flights to SFO.
After reaching SFO, there are multiple transportation options to get you to San Francisco. You can take a taxi, Uber, or a shuttle bus. If you're up for public transportation, the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is a good option. It connects SFO to downtown SF.
Don’t forget to check the quarantine regulations due to the ongoing pandemic.

Yo! Looks like their servers are having a meltdown right now. Not sure what app you guys are talking about, but I'm down to join the discord for a little bit of debugging hell. We've all been there. But hey, how about that trip from China though? Did you consider visas and all that jazz?

Sounds like there's a hiccup in processing your request. Could be an issue with the API you're using or possibly server-side. From the error code (500), it seems like it's a server error, so it would probably be a good idea to reach out to the support listed in the error message with your request ID and all. Don’t forget to check your network connection, by the way.

Seems like it’s a server issue, not really related to your question about getting to SF from China. As far as traveling, you'd most likely need to book a flight. There are several airlines like Air China and Cathay Pacific that frequently operate between China and San Francisco.

Okay mate, tbh, I've never been to China but, here's how I see it: first, get yourself to one of the major airports in China, like Beijing, Shanghai, or Guangzhou. Look for direct flights to SFO or layovers in other major US cities. Once at SFO, BART is a pretty reliable and cheap way to get into the city. Welcome in advance!
