Barcelona in the summer - too crowded?

Heads up guys, planning a trip to Barcelona this July. Heard it's mad crowded in summer. Is it still worth it? Any tips for avoiding the worst of the tourist traffic? Thx!

Been working remotely from Barcelona for a couple months now. The key is starting your day super early or really late. Escape to less touristy beaches like Ocata. If you need workspace, check out the many cool cafés in El Raval!

Too crowded? Yes. Too hot? Yes. Getting pickpocketed while getting crushed in a crowd? Priceless. Just stay home and watch a travel doc instead. 😂

Oh the food! Yes, it's busy, but the tapas are calling! Try going for meals at odd times, like late lunch - you beat both crowds and the heat.

It's PACKED in summer, but you can't miss the history here. My tip? Walk the Gothic Quarter at night, way cooler and fewer tourists. If you're into museums, Museu Picasso is less crowded on weekday afternoons.

It's crowded, yeah. I found the Parc de la Ciutadella a chill place to escape the chaos, bring a book or just people watch. Look for restaurants away from La Rambla, more space, better food imo.

Totally! BCN in July is lit 🔥 Just go with the flow, everyone's there for a good time. Hit the beach early to grab a spot, or party all night and go straight there for the sunrise, haha.

Definitely crowded but doable. Try visiting famous sites like Sagrada Familia during the week. Book tickets online to skip queues. For a more local vibe, explore neighborhoods like Gràcia or Poblenou. And don't miss the magic fountain show at Montjuïc, it's really underrated!

July is peak season but Barcelona's worth it. Gaudi's architecture is less packed early morning. Also, hit the less known spots like Hospital de Sant Pau, no crowds and just as stunning as the popular sites!
